The Career and Technical Education Center
CTE Education is all about hands on learning. You will see how what you are learning in school relates to the real world. You’ll see why and what skills are important to your future. All of our CTE courses are geared toward post-high school education. CTE courses are set up to provide academic tools that allow for innovative & creative problem solving. This is an opportunity to try out a career (or two) before you attend college to see which profession is ideal for you. College costs easily $40,000 to $80,000 or more to attend. CTE courses offer an opportunity to explore your passion before college. Finally, CTE courses may help pay for college. At the CTEC, many courses offer certification as part of the course. Take that certification and work part-time as you attend college. Other CTEC courses offer college credit for completion within the required parameters.
